About Our Delivery

Please note most orders will take around 2 - 3 weeks to manufacture depending on complexity of the order. It is also feasable that your delivery will be ealier than this depending on our delivery schedule. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us for more information.

Barncrest is all about service, and that carries on particularly with our deliveries. We aim to use our own transport for 99% of our worktop deliveries. This means a 'door to door' service that is totally controlled by us. Deliveries can be booked on our soonest available slot to weeks in advance – entirely as it suits you. The day before delivery we can advise you roughly what time the delivery will take place. Our driver will aim to call you half an hour to an hour before arrival, so you don’t have worry about missing the delivery if you have to pop out for ten minutes. We just ask that you are ready to take delivery, and have an area cleared ready for the worktops. You will need at least one able bodied person to help carry the worktops as all of the deliveries are single man only. With longer length worktops, 2 or more able bodied people are required. If you feel you will not be able to have enough able bodied people on hand on the agreed delivery date, or you have any concerns about how many people are required for the worktops you have ordered, please let our office know as soon as possible. The worktops are heavy, so the helpers need to be strong! We cannot allow pregnant ladies to help us under any circumstances. The driver will ask you to check the worktops and then to sign for them, and then it’s all to you! Please note that it is your responsibility to make sure the person you designate is strong enough!

Worktops

As we operate our own deliveries, the price will vary depending on location and order weight. As a rough guideline our prices start from £65

Your order will be delivered by a one-man crew, so it will be essential for you (or another able-bodied person) to assist the driver with unloading the products into your home or business.

Please be advised that we will provide a delivery date, but are unable to provide any specific time slots for this delivery service.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Barncrest deliveries are usually manned by a sole driver (unless stated) without an assistant, so it is essential that you provide at least one able-bodied person to assist the driver with the unloading of your products at the delivery address. - It is often very adviseable (for Health & Safety reasons) to have more people available to assist with large worktops - please ask us if you are unsure. These deliveries can only be unloaded to a convenient and accessible ground floor location. Please be advised that failure to provide sufficient manpower, or not being present to accept the delivery, will result in a re-delivery charge.

It is assumed that your delivery address is easily accessible but if you foresee any difficulties you must notify us beforehand so that we can make alternative arrangements for you.

All products must be thoroughly inspected at time of delivery. Any damage or shortfall must be recorded to the drivers and Barncrest must be notified immediately. we will not accept responsibility for damaged goods if they are not signed for as damaged.
