Full Stave & Wide stave wooden Worktops
Barncrest offer the widest range of bespoke full-stave & wide-stave worktops in the UK. We produce 44mm thick, full-length staved worktops in nine different species including: American Oak, American Walnut, American Cherry, Canadian Maple, African Iroko, Sapele, European Oak, European White Beech or Steamed Beech. All species (except Iroko & Sapele) are PEFC or FSC certified. Please click on the individual hardwood species you are interested in for full information or browse to the bottom of this page.
Full length staves are available up to 3.6m in all species except American Walnut & American Cherry (Maximum 2.4m). If you require worktops longer than these sizes in any of our woods, we produce them for you using the two/three plank-form method, whereby we use the minimal amount of joins along the length. See below for more details.
We can produce any size you require up to 5 metres in length and 2 metres in width.
Stave widths are a generous and uniform 130mm wide (+/- 50mm).

Full-length, wide-stave worktops are made exclusively for you from scratch, therefore we require a lead time of 3 weeks to produce them. Please allow an additional 3-5 days if you also require our bespoke cutting service.
