Delivery & Handling
Uncut Butchers-Block Worktops 1m-5m - £40
Blank, pre-oiled or edge-profiled worktops can be delivered via our convenient next-day delivery service (orders must be placed before midday to qualify). Your order will be delivered by a one-man crew, so it will be essential for you (or another able-bodied person) to assist the driver with unloading the products into your home or business. Our delivery charge is for your complete order, irrespective of the overall size or weight of your order - we do not charge you for each indivdual worktop.
Please be advised that we will provide a delivery date, but are unable to provide any specific time slots for this delivery service.
Bespoke Butchers Block Worktops & Tables - £50
Barncrest provide a highly efficent and safe delivery service for your bespoke Worktop & Table orders. Worktops requiring our bespoke cutting and finishing service are usually produced between 3-5 working days. Bespoke hardwood tables can be delivered within 7-10 working days from placement of your order. Your order will be delivered by a one-man crew, so it will be essential for you (or another able-bodied person) to assist the driver with unloading the products into your home or business.
Worktops under 1m - £30
We offer a reduced tariff for customers ordering smaller worktops which are less than 1000mmx1000mm in size.
Bespoke Shelves Delivery - £20
Delivery of bespoke shelves is charged at only £20 per entire order.
Bespoke shelves are normally produced between 2-5 working days and can be delivered on any day of your choosing Monday-Friday.
Full-Stave & Wide-Stave Worktops - £100
Our Full-Stave & Wide-Stave worktops are either delivered to you direct on our own vehicle (often with a two-man crew) or encased in MDF cases to provide complete protection during transit. Please be advised that because these worktops are made completely from scratch, the estimated delivery time is approximately 3weeks. However, as usual we will work with you to arrange the most convenient delivery date for you.
Unlike our competitors, our delivery prices apply to your entire order, irrespective of the overall size and weight of the order, and include VAT. We do not apply additional charges per worktop.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Barncrest deliveries are usually manned by a sole driver, without an assistant, so it is essential that you provide at least one able-bodied person to assist the driver with the unloading of your products at the delivery address. These deliveries can only be unloaded to a convenient and accessible ground floor location. Please be advised that failure to provide sufficient manpower, or not being present to accept the delivery, will result in a re-delivery charge.
Most deliveries are transported by a 7.5T vehicle (which is the same size as a refuse vehicle). It is assumed that your delivery address is easily accessible but if you foresee any difficulties you must notify us beforehand so that we can make alternative arrangements for you.
All products must be thoroughly inspected at time of delivery. Any damage or shortfall must be recorded on the drivers docket and Barncrest must be notified immediately. Our delivery company will not accept responsibility for damaged goods if they are not signed for as damaged, which means neither can we.
